Family Companies
The entry below is a synopsis of our speakers talk on 17th May 2023.
Mr David Faulkner gave us a presentation today entitled “Family Companies” which are companies that have been trading for years and are owned and run by family members.
David chose three companies displayed these attributes, Barbour clothing, Fenwick’s and Rington’s.
each company had their structure displayed and he talked about some of the infighting when hard decisions had to be made
The whole presentation was very factual, informative, sometimes unexpected events started off processes that were needed to keep the business going through the hard times.
